Stop Being Pathetically Correct

“Politically Correct” is a misnomer, because the positions taken in that name are often neither political nor correct. People take these positions because they are insecure in some sense of self and seek approval from a large group to ease their discomfort.

When we adopt such a position simply to match somebody else’s political rhetoric or even worse to avoid being criticized, it is just pathetic. We should call this what it is, pathetically correct, instead of politically correct, and remember that it may not be correct at all.

[psst – it’s also a gross violation of ethics to promote some issue based on reasoning that we know is weak at best, or even faulty – this is in fact an attempt to corrupt others or groups of others for the sake of personal feelings that may not actually improve our self]
